SIS 2025

Ummeed Child Development Center in its efforts to advocate for Inclusion in schools, firmly believes that meaningful change can occur only through the collective efforts of all stakeholders within the educational context. By fostering collaboration and engagement among everyone involved, Ummeed CDC aims to create systems that are inclusive.

To create a platform to bring all stakeholders together, the School Inclusion Summit is envisioned to be an annual Inclusion summit that brings together the organizations, policy makers, schools, educational institutions, families, educators and any individuals working towards making the education system more inclusive, safe and focused on the wellbeing of those accessing it. School Inclusion Summit 2025, an evolution of our annual summit that has been dedicated to fostering inclusive practices in educational settings for the past four years. This year, we are excited to rebrand our summit from the SELebrating Inclusion Summit to the School Inclusion Summit, reflecting our focused commitment to promoting inclusion within schools. Inclusion is a multifaceted concept that encompasses various elements, including Social and Emotional Learning (SEL). While SEL remains a cornerstone of our efforts, we recognize that it is part of a broader umbrella of inclusive practices that we aim to explore and enhance. Our summit will continue to delve into the transformative potential of SEL, while also expanding our scope to address the diverse needs of school communities.

 

The fifth edition of the School Inclusion Summit (SIS 2025) will revolve around the theme of ‘Unpacking Inclusion in school Spaces’. The summit aims to explore and promote inclusive practices. This journey is guided by the principles of transformative and inclusive practices. As SIS 2025 unfolds, participants can expect a unique blend of insightful discussions, collaborative networking, and immersive experiences. The summit serves as a beacon for those committed to advancing inclusive education, marking another milestone in its continued journey of fostering positive change.

 

The intention of SIS 2025 is to create a space for all those attending it to:
