SELebrating Inclusion Summit 2021: A Successful Gathering for SEL and Inclusion 

The SELebrating Inclusion Summit 2021, a joint effort by Apni Shala and Ummeed, successfully united diverse stakeholders to advance Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and Inclusion in India. The summit fostered partnerships between governmental and non-governmental organizations, all committed to ensuring children’s social and emotional wellbeing. 

The event successfully: 

• Enhanced understanding of the SEL and Inclusion landscape in India and globally. 
• Facilitated partnerships to expand access to SEL and Inclusion. 
• Provided experiential learning in Inclusion, Wellbeing, and SEL. 

SIS 2021 served as a vital platform for collaboration and knowledge sharing, driving momentum towards a more inclusive and wellbeing-focused education system for all children in India. The partnerships formed promise continued progress in this important area.
