Project Description

Unpacking Inclusion in School Spaces
Hosted by Ummeed Child Development Center, the School Inclusion Summit (SIS) 2025 marks the evolution of our annual summit, rebranded from the SELebrating Inclusion Summit to reflect a more focused commitment to inclusion within school spaces. Building on the success of four previous summits that have engaged over 1,900 participants, SIS 2025 adopted a hybrid format to ensure wider accessibility.
The summit aimed to:
Delve deeper to explore the Practices underpinning inclusion.
Foster partnerships for furthering inclusion and build a community of practice
Experience wellbeing and inclusion

Organized by Ummeed’s School Services Team, SIS 2025 marked the evolution of the annual summit, rebranded from the SELebrating Inclusion Summit to the School Inclusion Summit, reflecting a deepened commitment to fostering inclusion within school spaces. The summit highlighted the multifaceted nature of inclusion, positioning Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) as a key component within a broader ecosystem of inclusive practices. Centered on the theme “Unpacking Inclusion in School Spaces,” the hybrid event brought together diverse stakeholders to explore inclusion across systems, stories, and spaces of wellbeing through panel discussions, workshops, poster presentations, and experiential sessions. It offered meaningful opportunities for dialogue, collaboration, and learning, while reinforcing a strong commitment to accessibility and expanding the reach and impact of inclusive education across communities.
